The JV’s offense was doing well, but sputtering and misfiring in the first half. We had 2 TDs called back and trailed 20-7 at the half. At the half the coaching staff calmly made adjustments that then resulted in holding the Spears offense off the scrore board and Ryan McColeman scored from 32 yards out on a run to bring us within 6 trailing 20-14 going into the 4th.
Then our defense held them off again and a Brayden Campbell interception. The Bulldogs offense went back on and grinded out a good drive resulting in a Matt Desjardins 3 yd TD run behind the O-Line surge.
Defense held the opponents and gave the ball to the offense again. The Bulldogs grinded out some first downs and ate up a ton of time leaving the Spears with a 1st and 10 from their own 4 yd line with 12 seconds left. Defense held them there to win the game 21-20
