Its game day Saturday on the road to Waterloo!  We ask our Bantam players to be at the bus for 8:30 am and the bus will be leaving by 9 am and for our JV players to be on the bus for 10:30 am and the bus will be leaving by 11 am.  Please ensure players have lots to eat and drink for on the bus for breakfast/lunch.  We will be stopping for dinner on the way back.   Leaving from the same spot behind memorial gardens.

Be sure to have all your equipment.

If your player is unable to attend the game Saturday please advise me right away.  If they are not taking the bus either to or from the game I also need to know that and have the form signed and returned either by email or Friday nights practice.http://www.ovflontario.com/front/doc/AlternateGameTransport.pdf

Game Day – Lions v Bulldogs

Game day is coming up quickly!   For those that couldn’t make the out of town home opener, our games are lots of fun!

Players are asked to be at Northern Secondary located 175 Ethel Rue, Sturgeon Falls at 10 am Sunday morning.  We will have access to change rooms and prepare for the game.  Make sure you have all your equipment including your yellow socks, players missing equipment can not play.  We encourage the Bantam players to stay and watch the JV game if at all possible.

11:45 will introduce players

11:55 Oh Canada

12:00 kickoff

The cost to get in is $5 per person, children 12 and under are free.  The $5 gets you into both the Bantam and JV game so you are not paying twice.

50/50 will be sold and drawn in the third quarter of each game, tickets are $2 each, 3 for $5 or 10 for $10.

Our BBQ will start at 11 am and we will have hot dogs, hamburgers, desserts and cold water.  The BBQ is a fundraiser for the team and is by donation.  There are no set costs but please be fair.

Water will be provided for the players the same as last weekend during the game.

There is limited seating and the seating is fairly far back so I would suggest bringing lawn chairs to sit in.

The filed is Pet-friendly as long as you pick up after them.

Please remember to respect the refs, the coaches and team mates, this way everyone can enjoy the game!
