This game was between the very small and largely first year Stamps team going up against the bigger and far more experienced Argos team having many veterans return from last year. The Stamps Head Coach Eric Morgan made a commitment to teach his young kids the passing game and it was refreshing to see the most passing in the history of the youth program. It has rubbed off on other teams as we have seen more passing from other teams as well this year.
As the Stamps executed their offense one could see that they are so very close to completing a lot of passes. The receivers and QB are developing very well as the season progresses. Hopefully they will hit those near miss connections in the playoff weekends coming soon. It would be exciting to watch. Despite some big plays in the air and on the ground the Argos experience prevailed as expected with TDs by Hunter Greig, Scott Dumont, Tyler Lalonde, Jaxon Sheppard and Riley Lavergne including an interception return to round out the scoring at 46 – 0 for the Argos.
