If your child is going in to 6, 7 or 8, they are still eligible to play youth tackle this fall.  Our opening day camp is August 22/23 weekend, so register early to reserve your spot.  Kids will be placed on teams on August 24^th, so please register as soon as possible.  You can register on our website, at source for sports, or email back to me, whichever is easiest.  Please pass this on to your family and friends with kids in this age group.

The camp is August 22/23 at Roly Fisher Field behind memorial gardens and will be the Saturday and Sunday from 10-12 lunch break from 12-1, and back at it 1-4.  Bring lots of water to drink.  For lunch they can be picked up or bring a bagged lunch.  A lot of the kids last year met lots of new and old friends and just hung out at the field but that’s up to you.  At the camp they will go through several skills training to get an idea of what position they are interested in playing.  The coaches will be writing stuff down, like weight, height, preferred position etc…  For example if your child is interested in being a quarterback, they will try to put him or her on the team requiring a quarterback.  Some have requested to play on a certain team with a friend, we can guarantee brothers and sisters on the same team and we will try very hard to accommodate all the others as well.
Returning players are then placed on the same team they played for last year which are made up of Riders, Lions, Ticats, Eskies, Argos and Stamps.  The remaining new players will be placed on the teams to try to make the teams as even as possible.  Everyone gets equal playing time in this league, it is for fun and all about having fun.  Coaches are on the filed with the kids to help during game play.
