It’s time for the OMFL Championship. The Junior Varsity Bulldogs have fought their way to be the regular season champions with a 7-1 record. Now after routing the TNT Express in the semi-finals the JV Bulldogs make their trip to the championship match in Centennial Park Stadium in Etobicoke, Ontario with a kick off at 2:30 pm. Players are expected to be at the bus by 8am and the bus will leave by 8:30am.
Congratulations to our Bantam team for making the playoffs. Two years as a team and two years making it to the post season.
We need all of our players to be at practice Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in order to take on the Clarington Knights! They can be defeated and we want to make sure that our players are ready.
I know that there have been many questions about the Orangeville/TNT regular season game that has yet to be played. Unfortunately, the OMFL has not responded to mine or any other peoples questions with regards to this, so all I know is what the site says that it is to be played. North Bay plays Clarington, Orangeville plays TNT in the semis. The winners of these two games will go to the finals in Etobicoke on Sunday August 7th.
The address for Clarington Fields is 2375 Base Line Road West, Bowmanville. It is a 3.5 hour drive if you use Highway 12.
Kickoff is at 11 am. We are going to arrive at the filed around 9:30 am for those not taking the bus, please meet there then.
We are asking kids to be at the bus by 5:30 am and the second everyone is there we will leave to get there as soon as possible. Regardless the bus will leave by 6 am.
If your child is not taking the bus down, please respond to this email so we are not waiting for you.
If your child is unable to make the game, please let us know ASAP so we can make the appropriate changes at practices this week.
Clarington has a BBQ, no gate fee, pets are allowed and no washrooms, just port a potties.
GO BULLDOGS!! Work hard this week! You got this!
The Bantam Bulldogs are headed to Hamilton bright and early Saturday morning. We need our players to be at the bus by 6:30 am as the bus will be leaving at 7 am sharp. The address for the game if is 200 Acadia Drive, Hamilton or St. Jean de Brébeuf Catholic Secondary School. Gate fees are $5, kids 12 and under free.

The Junior Varsity team earned a Bye week to get ready for the Outlaws on July 24
If you can not make the game this weekend please let me know asap so we can make adjustments. If you are meeting us at the field in Hamilton and not taking the bus please let me know and please be at the field by 11 am as it’s a 1 o’clock kickoff. As well if you can let me know if you are not coming back on the bus that would be great. So far I have Miigwans and Brandon not coming back on the bus.
The Bus will have the boxed breakfasts again but please make sure your players have liquids and snacks as well to top them up.
On the way back we will be doing a very quick stop and our North Bay Eta is between 8:30 and 9 pm.
This is the last regular season game then we head in to playoffs. By the looks of things we will be headed to Clarington (near Oshawa) July 30th or 31st. “When” we win there we will head to Etobicoke on Sunday August 7th for the finals. If by chance we do not end up with the “W” our season will come to an end. So July 23 and 24th we will have off.
Year end banquet will be August 13th. So save the date. More info of times etc… to follow.
