2016 Youth League Week 6

The Bulldog Youth League players are back under the lights at Omischl Sports Complex for the regular season finals. Yes, there is still one makeup game to be played in the Bantam Youth division – stay tuned for details.

Our first game kicks off at 6:00 and will see the Peewee Grey will host the Peewee White team. White has been working hard in practice and are hungry for a victory.  Grey wants to make a bid for a high seed in the post-season and earn another “w”.

The 6:45 game will see the top dog in the Bantam youth division attempt to hold onto a perfect regular season. The always tough Grey team wants to spoil their flawless record and move up in the ranks.

PeeWee Black and Gold will face off in the 7:40pm game. The Gold try to hold on to the top spot as the Black team wants to topple the leaders and push up in the ranks.

In the main event of the evening, the Bantam Black will take on the Bantam Gold with kick off at 8:30.  The Bantam division is swelling with talent and both Black and Gold are stacked teams. Both Black and Gold are good on both sides of the ball making this a great headliner and a high profile match to cap off our regular season.

2016 Youth League Week 5

The Bulldog Youth League players are back under the lights at Omischl Sports Complex.

Our first game kicks off at 6:00 and will see the Peewee White look to kick-start  their season with a victory over the powerhouse PeeWee Gold.

Reminder team photos for gold and white will be at 5:45 just prior to the pee wee game.  Be sure to be on time so you don’t miss out!

The 6:45 game will see the Bantam Youth league leaders, the White team, try to stave off the hungry number two seed, the Gold team. This will be a clash between two juggernauts.

PeeWee Black and Grey mix it up at 7:40pm to see who is going to move up the standings. This is a crucial match for both teams.

In the main event of the evening, the Bantam Black will take on the Bantam Grey to start accent in the rankings. These are stacked teams that just need to get some traction to make a push in the final half of the season.

2016 Youth League Week 4

After some exciting games on Wednesday, we Bulldogs fans find ourselves enjoying a Saturday of Football action. hosted at École Secondaire Catholique Algonquin.

In our first contest that kicks off at 11:00 am, the Gold team with its ferocious defence looks to fend off the high impact offence of the PeeWee Grey team.

At Noon the Bantam Grey and Gold take to the field. The fans hope to see a repeat of the incredible action from Week 1 when it came down to the last play of the game. This is must see football.

The PeeWee White will square off against the PeeWee Black at 1:00 pm team with the two teams looking to make take home a much-needed victory.

And in the marquee match up at 2:00pm Bantam White will see action against Bantam Black. White wants to place a stranglehold on the standings but Black has looked exceptional in their recent outings and could be the break-out team late in the season.

Youth League Picture Day

October 1st is the Youth League photo day.  We ask that parents/guardians bring their player to their photo shoot at the below mentioned times and to have them ready for their photo season at the field. The kids will need their equipment, jersey (if they have one), and smiles.

All players for bantam and peewees Grey and Gold must be at Algonquin by 10 am for the team photo.  Peewees pay at 11am and Bantams at 12.  All players for bantam and pee wees for white and black must be at Algonquin by 12 noon for the team photo.  Peewees play at 1 and Bantams at 2.
